Flow Assurance
Pöyry's expert
team offers a broad range of flow assurance expertise from
small scale oil developments to large gas / condensate
developments in all the major oil and gas provinces around
the world.
Assessment
begins initially using steady state flow simulation programs
to:
- evaluates design and operating conditions
- defines insulation requirements
- develops hydrate / wax / slug management
strategies
- optimise gas lift or ESP usage and
well performance
Transient analyses are performed as the design progresses
and the pipeline systems and networks become better defined.
These can include.
- Single pipelines
- Complex oil and gas gathering
networks
- Slugcatcher Design
- Operating cases for start-up,
ramp-up, shutdown, cool down, re-starts and blowdown.
The team will analyse the results and develop design
cases and operating procedures as required.
The team have experience in using many of the leading
tools including, OLGA 2000, Pipesim, TGnet, Masterflow and
with interfacing these with other tools such as Hysys
Dynamic, Gap/Prosper, and Reo to create overall system
models.
